Down The Hatch Maui is situated in the open-air courtyard of The Wharf in Lahaina Town. Being only steps from the Lahaina Harbor, DTH has been able to source some of the freshest fish on Maui. It’s not uncommon to walk down the steps and see a beautiful Mahi Mahi or Yellowfin Tuna being weighed by the counter, because it was just purchased from a local fisherman!
In fact, if you’re lucky enough to be there when it happens, you can take your picture with the freshly caught fish and maybe even the fisherman. With freshness like that, Down The Hatch was excited and honored to be recognized on RestaurantClicks.com’s “Ultimate Guide to Maui’s Seafood Restaurants”. Among top restaurant’s on Maui, the Best Bar on Maui made the cut, and we are stoked!
