CLEAN-UP - Rubbish pick-up around Honolua Bay, Assist with Planting Milo Trees at Honolua Bay, Help load Trash Dumpster at the Baseyard.

8a-11a ~ drop in when you can!
Who:
Les Potts, Damian Antioco, Down the Hatch, Breakwall Shave Ice Co., Mala Ocean Tavern, and Honolua Hot Sauce.
Where:
Meet at the Honolua Bay small parking across from the purple food truck starting at 8a. Drop in any time between 8a-11a to help!
What do you need to bring?
Bring closed toe shoes, face mask, gloves, and a positive attitude. Also, bring your water bottle as it will be HOT!
Trash bags will be provided for those cleaning up around the bay.
TRUCKS NEEDED! We need a few volunteers with trucks that are willing to haul some pallets to the dump. If you have any questions email ashley@dthmaui.com.

Born in Australia, Jacob grew up in the industry. His parents had Mexican restaurants for a 20 year period from 1985 in Torquay, Victoria.
"I used to stand on a wooden crate to do dishes when I was 10 and began cooking shifts at 14."
He has explored, eaten and lived all over the world and spent several years cheffing central London. With London boasting such cultural diversity, he was able to hone his international culinary abilities but stills loves nothing more than a great taco session with friends.
Jacob resides on Maui after a 14 year stint co owning and operating his restaurant "Avalanche" in the ski resort Mt. Hotham, Victoria, Australia.
Visit Hale Zen, Ono Gelato, Punakea Palms in Lahaina and Tutu's Pantry in Kihei for his hot sauce called "Lahaina Heat" and now join him Down The Hatch the 1st Sunday of October, November, and December when he bakes fresh, hot "Award Winning" hand held pot pies.

After 2 years of not having the annual Dooma Photos Slideshow due to the staple venue closing, we're happy to announce that Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 it will be back!

"I am stoked to announce that DoomaPhotos Is teaming up with Down The Hatch restaurant to bring the best all ages party of the year back next year on May 23rd, 2020, the same Memorial Day weekend Saturday as I always had it on. Along with Down The Hatch’s help I plan on making this slideshow the best one yet! We will be continuing the huge raffle fundraiser all proceeds will be split evenly between Pomaikai Youth Group and towards Les Potts to help him continue to keep the Honolua Bay area pristine!"
Further plans are to be announced, but anticipate the same great party with DoomaPhotos, live music, and a whole lot of aloha for our community. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the party a year from now!

NEW SCAVENGER HUNT LIST! New challenges, new clues, & more!
The Scavenger Hunt will start at 6pm on Monday, April 22nd at Spanky’s Riptide in the 505. The hunt is open to the community (21+). The DTH Scavenger Hunt will lead participants around Lahaina town, through local businesses, and historic sites using different clues. Teams are encouraged to play with the theme, “It’s All About Being Green”, to draw positive attention to themselves, to raise awareness about Earth Day and the variety of cleanups happening all over Maui! Proceeds from the Scavenger Hunt will benefit recent & future clean-up at Honolua Bay.
Maximum of 4 people per team, $100 entry fee per team, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Honolua Bay Clean-up efforts. For more information contact info@dthmaui.com.
